Dog food tins

Place empty dog food tins in your recycling bin (yellow lid).

Timber

Timber offcuts, painted and treated timber should be taken to your local transfer station. Fees may apply. 

Painted timber or treated timber is not suitable for composting in the food and garden waste bin (green lid). The paint and timber treatments contain chemicals that will make the final compost product unusable.

Metal / scrap

Metal is a precious resource but not all metals can be recycled in your recycling bin (yellow lid).

Only disposable steel and aluminium cans and aerosols should be placed into your recycling bin (yellow lid).

Please take any large or scrap metal items to the following locations for recycling:
