School holiday program

Our School Holiday Program operates at Chelsea Primary School and Southmoor Primary School (Moorabbin) with plenty of fun activities to keep children entertained during the school holidays.

Enrol

Step 1.Have a look at our program

Download our school holiday program brochure(PDF, 4MB)  and check out our exciting program to decide which activities and excursions your child will attend.

Our school holiday brochures also contain important information including fees and terms and conditions.

Step 2.Make sure your child is eligible

Your child must be less than 13 years old, and not enrolled in secondary school.

This complies with the Child Care Subsidy that commenced July 2018.

Please note: Children who are enrolled in prep are not permitted to attend excursions during the January holiday period in accordance with City of Kingston’s Policies and Procedures.

Step 3.Gather your documents

If your child has a diagnosed medical condition (e.g. Asthma, Anaphylaxis) you may need to submit additional documents:

If your child requires support for inclusion in a program, please contact our Holiday Program Coordinator on 9581 4846 to discuss further.

Step 4.Complete the enrolment form

Complete the relevant forms at the end of the program brochure(PDF, 4MB).

If you already have an account with our School Holiday or Before and After School Care programs, you do not need to complete 'Form A'.

Please note bookings cannot be accepted in-person at the holiday programs.

Step 5.Email your form to us

Please email your completed enrolment form and any additional documents to schoolholidayprogram@kingston.vic.gov.au.

Once you have submitted your enrolment form, we will process your enrolment and let you know as soon as practicable if a spot is available for child on the days you have requested.

A late fee of $5 per day will apply for all bookings received after the closure of enrolments.

What to bring

We provide

  • breakfast until 8am
  • fruit, vegetables and a snack are provided for afternoon tea.

Menus can be found onsite at our program locations

You provide

  • nut-free snacks
  • lunch
  • water bottle
  • hat and sunscreen during warmer months. 

Your child should wear comfortable casual clothing and appropriate shoes (no thongs or open-toe shoes).
