Before and after school care

Our before and after school care program runs every weekday from 6.45am to 8.45am and 3.30pm to 6.15pm during school terms (excluding public holidays) at various schools across Kingston.

Your child can attend our program if they are aged between four and 13 years old.

Step 1.Register an account using My Family Lounge.

Please note you must use Google Chrome web browser to use My Family Lounge.

Click on the register button below to begin.

Step 2.Check your email

Complete the registration steps sent to you via email. Click on the link to start your registration on My Family Lounge

Step 3.Enrol your child

Click on Start Enrolment next to your child's name:

  • Ensure that all sections of the form are complete, and up to date.
  • All relevant documentation/plans are attached and in date.
  • Sign and date the Placement agreement(PDF, 328KB), with the date you are completing the form
  • Click on the submit button located on the left of the screen.

Extra-curricular activities

If you want your child to participate in extra-curricular activities (e.g. music lessons, sport lessons) during before or after school care, you will also need to complete and return the extra-curricular activities form(PDF, 394KB).

Step 4.Wait for us to contact you

We will respond to all new enrolments and changes to bookings within five business days.

Step 5.Manage your bookings

Once you are registered, you can use the My Family Lounge app to:

  • Create a new enrolment (permanent or casual)
  • Edit your existing bookings
  • Cancel a booking (a minimum of five days notice is required).

If your child is sick or not attending a booked session, mark your child absent as soon as possible on the my family lounge account.


Step 1.Log into My Family Lounge.

Please note you must use Google Chrome web browser to use My Family Lounge.

Download My Family Lounge if you don't already have it. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it.

Click on the button below to begin.

Step 2.Manage your enrolment

On the Enrolment Management page, navigate to the ‘Child Section’.

Click on ‘View Enrolment’ or ‘Edit Enrolment’, which is located next to your child’s name.

Step 3.Complete the enrolment form for your child

Please ensure that

  • All sections of the form are complete, and up to date.
  • Your contacts, phone numbers and addresses have been updated.
  • Relevant documentation/plans are attached and are current and relevant. All health management plans need to be signed by a doctor and dated within two years.
  • Add in your new bookings requests under section titled '2023 bookings'.
  • Click on the submit button located on the left of the screen.
  • You have (digitally) signed and dated the enrolment form.

Step 4.Check for submission email

You will receive an email once you have successfully submitted your enrolment form. Please read the information carefully as it relates to your child's enrolment with our program. 

Step 5.Check for confirmation email 

Within five business days of successfully submitting your enrolment form, you will receive an email confirming your child's enrolment. This email will come from our administration team:

If you are enrolling a sibling for the first time, please return to the enrolment management page and click 'Add Child'. 


Our program fees are outlined below:

  • Before school program $23.00
  • After school program $29.00
  • Curriculum Day (full day care) $73.00
  • After school program (if school finishes early) $42.50

Children must be collected from the venue by the closing time. Any late pick-ups will be charged a $30 fee per every 15 minutes (or part thereof).

Payment for our before and after school care program is made by direct debit. Include details in your enrolment application or download the direct debit payment form(PDF, 150KB).

Fee support

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is available to eligible families, determine your eligibility or call Centrelink's Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50, or log into your MyGov Account.

Fee support may be available for families experiencing financial hardship. Please contact our before and after school care program coordinator on 9581 4847 to discuss your personal circumstances. 


Our Before and After School Program has lots of fun activities to keep children entertained and engaged.

Our programs run every day of the school year through the school term (excluding public holidays) in a supervised, relaxed, safe and fun environment.

Our programs provide positive activities and games, and social opportunities that children will love.

Parents who work, study or have other commitments can relax knowing their children are having fun!

Our action-packed programs include:

  • A great mix of structured activities and time to relax
  • Sports activities
  • Arts & crafts – your budding artist will love the chance to draw, paint and more
  • Cooking activities
  • Breakfast and afternoon tea is provided
  • Full supervision from our caring, fully trained staff.
