Adelong Court Reserve

Adelong Court Reserve is a small wedge of green space in between two cul-de-sacs in Patterson Lakes with trees and a playground.

The Albany Crescent Reserve is a small open space with a train-themed playground. There are two main structures in the playground climbing, slides, monkey rings, telescope and tunnel, with rail-related activities including a Red Rattler train, a train station, flying fox, see saws, swings and carousel.

Amaroo Drive Reserve

Amaroo Drive, Chelsea Heights 3196

The Amaroo Drive Reserve is a long green strip running though Chelsea Heights with a large section of off-lead dog area, a refurbished playground and a long accessible walking trail. The new playground has play equipment for children of all ages, including junior and senior combination units and a rubberised surface, new park furniture including a drinking fountain, picnic table and park seats.

Amott Court Reserve

The Amott Court Reserve is a grassed area backing onto the Mordialloc Creek and trail. There is a small playground with a structure with ladders, and a slide, hanging discs, sliding pole and swings, with a shelter and half-court basketball. Limited on-street parking in nearby streets.

Aspendale Beach

Aspendale beach is a beautiful three kilometre stretch of wide, flat sand, with low dunes and grass, dotted with historic beach huts. The beach is only 200m from Aspendale train station, with an accessible ticketed car park, boardwalk, shower, and toilet, benches and picnic tables. The beach is patrolled by the Aspendale Life Saving Club, with an off-leash dog area.

Balcombe Place Reserve

Bald Hill Park is a sprawling open space with wide open grassy areas and walking and bike trails winding through the trees, an off-leash dog area, as well a disc golf course and expansive playground. There are shelters, picnic tables and BBQ area, with toilets and drinking fountain.

We recognise the significance and value of play in children’s development and currently look after 114 playgrounds located throughout Kingston. We aim to provide a broad range of options for activities, spaces and play opportunities for children of different ages and abilities.

Sports grounds and facilities
