George Woods Reserve

58 Governor Road, Mordialloc 3195

George Woods Reserve is a large, grassed space adjacent to Mordialloc Creek with walking trails, a playground, off leash dog area, and boat ramp with car park.

The reserve is a fantastic place for a walk, with walking trails connecting through to the Mordialloc Pier and beach, alongside the Mordialloc Creek Trail, or across the bridge to the Edithvale Wetlands Trail.

Parkdale Beach

Beach Road (opp. Parkers Rd), Parkdale 3195

Parkdale Beach stretches 1.5km with adjoining concrete walking path. There are open grassed areas on higher ground with tables, drinking fountain and BBQs, as well as a war memorial near the highway and the Parkdale Yacht Club. A cafe and beach kiosk has nearby public toilets, showers, and accessible parking, with off-leash dog areas on the beach.

Chadwick Reserve

Chadwick Reserve features a large pavilion and junior AFL/cricket oval and training area, both with lighting, a BMX track and half-court.
The reserve also offers a BBQ, picnic tables, a large fenced off-leash dog park and a playground with all-ages play equipment, nature play and accessible swings.

Namatjira Park

Namatjira Park is a 12.1 hectare site, officially opened in April 1980, that provides a diversity of opportunities including social and family recreation, sport, play and environmental experiences.

The reserve has a single oval, single tennis court, sporting pavilion, bowls club and bistro, skate park, playground, tennis wall, basketball half court, and dog off-leash park.

Bald Hill Park

Bald Hill Park is a sprawling open space with wide open grassy areas and walking and bike trails winding through the trees, an off-leash dog area, as well a disc golf course and expansive playground. There are shelters, picnic tables and BBQ area, with toilets and drinking fountain.

Elder Street South Reserve

Elder Street South Reserve is a 4-hectare former landfill site rehabilitated into parkland, expanding our Chain of Parks. Facilities include picnic areas, seating, shelter, toilet and water facilities. There is a car park available off Elder Street South.

Dingley Reserve

As part of Council's commitment to providing improved sporting facilities at Dingley Reserve, we are currently planning for the redevelopment of the sports pavilion to meet growing demand for cricket and AFL facilities and provide more sporting and community facilities for the Dingley community. This $6.3M project is jointly funded by Council ($1.7M), the State Government ($4.5M) and sporting club

Bonbeach Reserve

The Bonbeach Reserve has been part of the sporting history of the area for more than 50 years. The reserve has five football/cricket ovals, with cricket nets, two netball courts and club rooms, with club rooms above.

Gerry Green Reserve

16 Keith Street, Parkdale 3195

The Gerry Green Reserve officially took its name in 1972 after the Mayor of Mordialloc at the time, who was highly involved in local sporting clubs and community groups.

Prior to this, the area was called the Parkdale Recreation Reserve, which had its beginnings when members of the local football side helped clear scrub land to create an oval in the early 1920s.

Edithvale Reserve

Fraser Avenue, Edithvale 3196

The Edithvale Reserve is a multi purpose sports facility and recreation reserve, home to soccer, baseball, cycling and little athletics clubs.

Sporting facilities include a soccer pitch, baseball diamond, velodrome, and grass athletics track, with a recently built pavilion, and expanded playground area.

Recent improvements have been part of a long term development plan for the area.

We recognise the significance and value of play in children’s development and currently look after 114 playgrounds located throughout Kingston. We aim to provide a broad range of options for activities, spaces and play opportunities for children of different ages and abilities.

Sports grounds and facilities

Kingston has a wide variety of sports grounds and facilities used by hundreds of local teams and community clubs, providing opportunities for thousands of participants to engage in competition, recreation and exercise.
