The Parkdale foreshore comprises a 1.5km stretch of beach separated from a natural bluff by a concrete walking path. There are open grassed areas on higher ground with tables, drinking fountain and BBQs, as well as a war memorial near the highway and the Parkdale Yacht Club.
A cafe and beach kiosk has nearby public toilets, showers, and accessible parking, with off-lead dog areas on the beach.
