The City of Kingston is keen to see our community get behind the St Kilda AFLW squad when they bring elite level footy back to Moorabbin this Sunday afternoon (September 17).

Get ready for an exciting new game-day experience for the whole family, with the best of Saints footy, food trucks, a ferris wheel, activities for the kids, and much more on offer.

Mayor Hadi Saab said it will be great see the team back in the heartland, lighting up RSEA Park and inspiring the next generation.

“I’m looking forward to being part of the red, white and black army descending on the ground on Sunday and watching the women take down the Power,” Cr Saab said.

“After a couple of challenging weeks on the road to start the season, I’m confident that with a passionate crowd of Kingston locals getting behind them, the march towards finals will begin.

“The Saints bring so much good to our city through a variety of programs and projects and these home games allow us to continue to build a powerful sense of community.

“It would also be great to see the Moorabbin business community supported both before and after the game too. Let’s make this an awesome day in Moorabbin!!!”

St Kilda CEO Simon Lethlean said the club is thrilled to have footy back at RSEA Park for another season.

“The atmosphere here on a game day is the best in the league, so to anyone who hasn’t yet experienced it, I couldn’t recommend it enough,” Mr Lethlean said.

“With plenty for the whole family to enjoy both on and off the field, we look forward to welcoming a big, loud crowd on Sunday afternoon.”

The first bounce is scheduled for 1.05pm on Sunday and the Saints are back at home next week too, with the Pies making the visit to RSEA Park.
