Is your child turning three or four years old by 30 April 2025? Join us at a Kindergarten Open Night to learn more about our kindergarten programs.

Located next to Parkdale Secondary College, our Parkdale Family and Children’s Centre offers state of the art facilities, including five early years rooms, a large outdoor area that incorporates spaces to encourage imaginative and active play and learning, equipment and resources that promote the development of new skills, natural grassed areas and expansive gardens that boast a range of vegetation and native trees.

How to apply

Kindergarten

This is the extended day kindergarten program.

We want to provide you with a place as soon as possible, but this will depend on availability for the days and age group you are applying for. Please contact the centre to discuss current wait times. 

The more flexible you can be with your preferred days and start dates the sooner you are likely to be offered a place. 

Step 1.Gather your information

The following information is required to enrol your child but can be supplied at a later stage.

  • proof of your child's age (birth certificate or passport)
  • your child's Centrelink CRN (if you want to apply for the childcare subsidy) 

Step 2.Join our waitlist

Complete our online form to join our waitlist. We will be in touch to discuss availability.

Please note if you already have a child enrolled in one of our centres, you will need to log into your Xap account to add an additional child to the waitlist.

Long day care

This is our education and care program.

We want to provide you with a place as soon as possible, but this will depend on availability for the days and age group you are applying for. Please contact our centre to discuss current wait times.

If you're interested in our Family and Children's Centres you can take a tour of your preferred site.

 

You will need to allow around 30 minutes to be taken through the centre.

 

If you are offered a place but haven't seen the centre, you will be able to visit before accepting.
