Maternal and child health appointments

After your baby is born, the hospital will contact us to make your first appointment. We will contact you within 10 working days to arrange a home visit.

Our nurses will monitor your child’s growth and development from birth to five years of age. Appointments will be made as set out in your child’s health record (green book). Visit Better Health Channel to view the appointment schedule online.

Appointments will be held at your local Maternal and Child Health Centre.
