Adelong Court Reserve Playground

Adelong Court Reserve is a wedge of green space in between two cul-de-sacs in Patterson Lakes with trees and a small playground featuring a wave slide, firefighter's pole, carousel, swinger and a swing.

Albany Crescent Reserve Playground

The Albany Crescent Reserve is a small open space with a train-themed playground. There are two main structures in the playground climbing, slides, monkey rings, telescope and tunnel, with rail-related activities including a Red Rattler train, a train station, flying fox, see saws, swings and carousel.

Amaroo Drive Reserve Playground

The Amaroo Drive Reserve is a long green strip running though Chelsea Heights with a large section of off-lead dog area, a refurbished playground and a long accessible walking trail. The new playground has play equipment for children of all ages, including junior and senior combination units and a rubberised surface, new park furniture including a drinking fountain, picnic table and park seats.

Amott Court Reserve Playground

The Amott Court Playground is within a grassed area backing onto the Mordialloc Creek and trail. There is a structure with ladders, and a slide, hanging discs, sliding pole and swings, with a shelter and half-court basketball. Limited on-street parking in nearby streets.

Ashbourne Place Reserve Playground

The Ashbourne Place Reserve Playground is an open grassed area dotted with trees and containing two connected climbing structures, see-saw, a slide, swings and some seating. Limited on street parking nearby.

Balcombe Place Reserve Playground

The Balcombe Place Reserve Playground is within a small park at the end of a cul-de-sac, comprising a slide, see-saw, springer and climbing structure with noughts and crosses. Limited on street parking nearby.

Balcome Road Playground

Balcombe Road Playground is a small fenced area within a grassy and tree-lined reserve. It has a variety of play equipment and activities including slides, firefighter's pole, swings, chain bridge, monkey bars, swingers and horizontal bars with shaded seating.

Bald Hill Park Playground

Bald Hill Park is a sprawling open space with wide open grassy areas and walking and bike trails winding through the trees, an off-leash dog area, as well a disc golf course and expansive playground. There are shelters, picnic tables and BBQ area, with toilets and drinking fountain.

Bemboka Avenue Reserve Playground

The Bemboka Avenue Reserve Playground sits in a small park, comprising a structure with climbing wall, balance beam, monkey rungs, sliding pole, noughts and crosses and steering wheel. Other play equipment includes a four-person pommel bounce, swings and a see-saw with tables and seating. Limited parking in nearby streets.

Ben Kavanagh Reserve Playground

An essential recreation area, home to many local sporting teams, and facilities for community use. The Ben Kavanagh Reserve Playground has been refurbished to include a number of wooden play structures, with new play equipment – swings (toddler & senior), accessible nest swing, whirly go-round, double rocker, all-ages timber play tower, timber cubby, nature play, shelter, tables, and outdoor gym.

Bicentennial Park Playground

Bicentennial Park is a regional park created from reclaimed land, which had been operating as a local tip since 1959. Since its redevelopment, the park has become a much-loved and widely used community asset. Features include a youth area with skatepark, multi sport court and stage, and a huge adventure playground.

Blackburn Drive Reserve Playground

The Blackburn Drive Reserve Playground comprises a structure with a slide, spider web climbing ladder, as well as stepping stones, balance beam, springers and swings. There are tables and seating, a water tap and limited parking available on surrounding streets.

Bonbeach Reserve Playground

The Bonbeach Reserve has been part of the sporting history of the area for more than 50 years. The reserve has five football/cricket ovals, with cricket nets, two netball courts and club rooms, with club rooms above. The playground offers a number of wooden climbing structures, with slides, swings, tunnels, walkways and a sand pit. There is a sheltered area with tables, BBQ and drinking fountain.

Booker Street Reserve Playground

The Booker Street Reserve Playground sits within a small triangular park beside the train line with a fenced area comprising a structure with climbing mat and slide, four-person carousel, swinger, monkey bars, swings, and shaded seats with a tap.

Bourke & Patty Street Reserve Playground

The Bourke & Patty Street Reserve Playground comprises a smaller and larger climbing structure with slides, swings, a two-person pommel bounce, swinger, half court basketball, drinking fountain, table and seating. Limited on street parking on surrounding streets.

Braeside Park Playground

All kids will love the adventure playground at Braeside Park. A variety of modules have activities and equipment for kids of all ages as well as large connected wooden structures with three slides, climbing walls and ladders, poles, walkways, tunnels and bridges. There are springers, and swings, with a carves wooden eagle overlooking the playground, picnic tables, seating, toilets and BBQ area.

Branagan Drive Reserve Playground

Large landscaped park with timber playground structures set among native trees and large grassed area. Playground has a number of structures, slides, ladders and platforms, with swings, flying fox, and springer. Facilities include sheltered table and chairs and outdoor seating. Limited on-street parking in surrounding streets.

Brownfield Street Reserve Playground

Simple tree-lined park with basic playground with slide, swings, and two springers. Limited street parking available.

Carinya Avenue Reserve Playground

Small square neighbourhood park with simple playground comprising a slide, springer, swings and seating. Limited on-street parking on surrounding streets.

Cassava Court Reserve Playground

The Cassava Court Reserve is an open grassed area lined with trees with a big playground area. The playground comprises three swings, and a large climbing structure with two slides. with a see-saw, springers, hanging pommels and play activities including noughts and crosses, a shopfront and counting balls. There is seating and picnic tables in the park, limited on-street parking is available.

Chadwick Reserve Playground

Chadwick Reserve has been upgraded with a new, larger pavilion replacing the current aged building featuring female-friendly change rooms, disability access, umpire’s facilities and a community room.
A new playground was part of the redevelopment, with landscaped all ages play equipment including slides, see-saw, nest swing, wooden forts with slides, shelter, tables and drinking fountain.

Chelsea Beach and Victory Park

Chelsea beach is located a short 250m walk from Chelsea train station, with accessible ticketed parking on Camp Street. The beach is a long sandy stretch, with dunes and beach huts dotted along the shore. The Victory Park playground is a popular spot for visitors with play equipment, BBQs, picnic tables, and toilets, with beach showers and off-leash dog areas.

Coughlan Reserve Playground

Coughlan Reserve is an open grassy area bordered by trees with a path leading to a playground. The playground is in two sections, one with swings, and the other with a climbing structure with wave slide, chain bridge, and shopfront. There is a flying fox, two person pommel bounce, four person carousel, and springer, table and seating. Limited street parking.

Cullen Court Playground

The Cullen Court Reserve is a part of a series of parks and paths connecting to form the Kinnear and Drainage Line linear reserves. There is a small playground with a slide and swings.

Dalbeattie Drive Reserve Playground

AKA Cooinda Crescent Playground, is a neighbourhood park with grassy open space, large trees and small playground area. The playground has a climbing structure, swings, see-saw and a springer. There are picnic tables and seating available, with limited street parking.

Dales Park Playground

Dales Park is a significant community asset providing both active sporting and passive recreational elements, which was initially bequeathed to the former City of Moorabbin as a site for women’s sporting participation. The reserve has nine netball courts, a sporting pavilion, a playground, a dog off leash area and a large grass area.

Dingley Reserve Playground

Council is providing improved facilities at Dingley Reserve to provide more sporting and community facilities for the Dingley community.
A new landscaped playground, overlooking the sporting fields, provides all ages and ability play equipment including wooden climbing structures, slides, swings, with seating, shelter, tables and a BBQ area.

Dolamore Reserve Playground

The Dolamore Reserve Playground is a fenced play area appealing to children of all ages with connected wooden structures accessed by climbing walls, rope ladders, bridges, and walkways featuring a double-slide and sliding pole. There are separate swings, see-saw, spinning cup and a sandpit with a digger. Facilities included a shelter, shaded seating, tables and water tap.

Doug Denyer Reserve Playground

The Doug Denyer Reserve is a diverse community space, home to the Mordialloc Tennis Club, and Mordialloc Cricket Club, with a large fenced dog park, playground and half court basketball. The playground has a climbing structure with climbing wall, chain bridge, slide, swings and springers, with seating, tables, shelter and BBQ facilities available.

Dowling Road Reserve Playground

The Dowling Road Reserve is a neighbourhood park featuring an open grassed area, with lots of tree cover, half court basketball, shelters, tables, seating and a playground area. The playground has lots of climbing structures, slide, flying fox, sliding pole, carousel and mini jeep. Facilities include picnic tables, shaded seats and BBQ available, limited on street parking.

Drushi Court Reserve Playground

Local park connecting two-cul-de-sacs with colourful climbing structure, chain bridge, swings, spiral, suspension bridge and swingers, a drinking fountain and seating.

Duggan Street Reserve Playground

The Duggan Street Reserve has been enhanced as part of Kingston's park renewal program. The new local level, nature themed play space has equipment suitable for all ages with slides, nets, a rock wall, a play bridge, shop counter, junior and senior swing set, spring rockers, flying saucer spinner, sand pit and new paths, shade trees, gardens, safe flooring, bench seats and drinking fountain.

Edithvale Reserve Playground

The Edithvale Reserve is a multi purpose sports facility and recreation reserve.
The playground was upgraded as part of recent redevelopments of the area and features a huge colourful wooden structure with lots of ramps, nets, slides, poles, and activities to explore.
There are separate swings, carousels, sculptures, with a sheltered table and BBQ area with drinking fountain and seating.

Elliott Street Reserve Playground

A small fenced, shady playground with a variety of equipment including two climbing structures with slides connected by horizontal bars, monkey wrench, chain bridge and standing discs. Separate swings and springers with drinking fountain.

First Street Reserve Playground

The First Street Reserve is a large fenced area with open grassed spaces, shady trees and a large playground area. The playground has a number of train themed amusements, high climbing structures, slides, monkey and horizontal bars, a flying fox, balance beam, standing discs, climbing web, seating and wooden sculptures. Other facilities include a sheltered table and BBQ, with drinking fountain.

Follett Road Reserve Playground

The Follett Road Reserve is a small, fenced corner park with grassed area, big shady trees and a simple playground with a set of swings.

Friendship Square Reserve Playground

The Friendship Square Reserve is a long narrow park running through the square from which it takes its name. The fenced park features a playground with a large wooden structure with rope climb, spinning wheel, shop front and slide, a bird nest swing, spinner, swings and a sand pit. There are seats, picnic table and drinking fountain and street library, with limited on street parking.

G.R. Bricker Reserve West Playground

As part of Council's commitment to improving its open spaces and meet the growing need for improved sport and recreation spaces in the area, Council worked with the community to develop a master plan for GR Bricker Reserve. The master plan will guide future improvements at the reserve to meet the growing need for improved sporting and recreational spaces in the area.

Gartside Reserve Playground

The Gartside Reserve is named after an influential vegetable canning family who helped form the Dingley state school, tennis club and this park. The reserve has a large grassed area, with a playground comprising a large slide, and climbing structure with slides and ladders, with springers, swings and see-saws. There is seating, half court basketball and limited street parking.

George Woods Reserve Playground

George Woods Reserve is a large, grassed space adjacent to Mordialloc Creek with walking trails, a playground, off leash dog area, and boat ramp with car park. The reserve is a fantastic place for a walk, with walking trails connecting through to the Mordialloc Pier and beach, alongside the Mordialloc Creek Trail, or across the bridge to the Edithvale Wetlands Trail.

Gerry Green Reserve Playground

The Gerry Green Reserve Playground is a large natural landscaped space with numerous wooden structures offering activities to kids of all ages, with wave slides, climbing walls, cubby house, sliding pole, swings, see-saw and springers and a big sandpit with diggers. There is also a sheltered area with tables, drinking fountain and BBQ area.

Gladesville Boulevard Reserve/Ocean Reef Drive Playground

The Gladesville Boulevard Reserve is a large open area adjacent to the Patterson Lakes Kindergarten with a large playground and free parking. The playground has some wooden climbing structures with two slides, monkey bars, and horizontal bars. Other play equipment includes, a see-saw, swings, springers, carousel and bird nest swing, with football posts, seating and drinking fountain.

Glyn Court Reserve/Chelsea Street Playground

The Glyn Court Reserve is a narrow fenced park connecting two local streets with the Chelsea Street playground in one corner. The play area comprises a climbing structure with two slides, walkways and coloured balls, as well as swings, see-saw, and springers. Facilities include a picnic table, seats, drinking fountain, with limited street parking.

Golf Links Crescent Reserve Playground

Small corner park backing onto the golf course with open grass area, shady trees and playground equipment. The playground has two sections, one with a colourful climbing structure with pipes, windows, slide, and curly ladder, while the other section has a slide and swings.

Golfwood Close Reserve Playground

The Golfwood Close Reserve comprises two parks linking the golf course to to local cul-de-sacs. The main section has a large grass area with a playground, that has a climbing structure with slide and flying fox, swings, see-saw and springers. There is a seating and limited amount of on-street parking.

Greenwoods Close Reserve Playground

The Greenwoods Close Reserve is a small neighbourhood park backing onto the golf course with open grassed area and a playground. The playground has a slide, flying fox, swings, see-saw, springers and a carousel, with seating around the edge. Limited on street parking is available.

Grey Street Reserve Playground

The Grey Street Reserve, named after aviation pioneer and former mayor Gertrude McKenzie, is a tree-filled grassy space with playground. The playground has two climbing structures with slides, swings, a flying fox, and springers. There are picnic tales and seating with limited on street parking.

Gumley Court Reserve Playground

The Gumley Court Reserve is a small neighbourhood park with big shade trees and a playground. The playground has two sections, one with horizontal bars and swings, the other with a climbing structure, slide and springers. There is seating, and limited on street parking.

Harbour Town Park Playground

Harbour Town Park Playground consists of equipment for different age groups offering a variety of play value with structured and unstructured play, with improved accessibility, park furniture and landscaping for shade and amenity. New equipment includes a junior and senior swing, ‘ship’ themed combination unit with monkey bars, slides, nets and rock wall, a spring rocker, nature play and sandpit.

Heatherton Park Playground

Heatherton Park is a large, open grassed space with an expansive troll themed playground - AKA Monster Park! As well as providing a home to a hoard of trolls, the playground has an expansive array of play activities, with many slides, swings, flying fox, monkey bars, mirrors, poles and ladders. There are shelters, tables, half court and seating.

Heights Park Playground

Heights Park Playground is a small area with multi-level pole structures offering climbing, ladders, spirals, balance beam and a slide.

Hendon Court Reserve Playground

The Hendon Court Reserve is a neighbourhood park recently upgraded with new all-ages play equipment and improved park furniture and landscaping for shade and amenity. The new playspace includes an accessible basket swing, junior and senior swings and combination units with monkey bars, wobble walk, balance beam, slides, suspension bridge, shop counter, tunnel, fire pole, rock wall, and climber.

Henry Street Reserve Playground

The Henry Street Reserve is an open grassed area with bike and walking trails and fenced playground with slide, swings and springers.

Herbert Street Reserve Playground

The Herbert Street Reserve is a small pocket park behind the old maternal health centre with carved wooden sculptures, pathway, drinking fountain seating and tables. There is a playground built into a semi-circular mound of soft material with a slide, rocker and springer.

Highett Reserve Playground

The Highett Reserve is a large sporting venue and recreation space with the expansive Turner Street Playground in among historic native and exotic trees. The playground features a large wooden castle with ramps and cubbies, lots of swings and equipment for all ages, a troll garden and a great new piece of equipment called the ‘Mobilus’ that’s great for older kids! BBQ, picnic table and seating.

Holland Avenue Reserve Playground

The Holland Avenue Reserve is a large open grassed space dotted with trees, criss-crossed with accessible walking paths, seating and a small playground. The playground features a climbing structure with slide, and sliding pole, with separate swings, monkey bars, and flying fox.

Iluka Reserve Playground

Iluka Reserve is a versatile space with walking paths, an off lead dog park, playground, and football posts. Head through the carved totem poles to find wide open grassy spaces, with separate fenced dog park and an oval with both Aussie Rules and soccer goal posts. The playground has a climbing structure with chain ladder, slide, and sliding pole, with a flying fox, pommel, springer and swings.

Ivy Marriott Reserve Playground

The Ivy Marriott Reserve is a small park with simple playground comprising structure with chain bridge, curved ladder and slide, with separate swing and springers and a seat.

Jacobs Drive Reserve Sundowner Avenue Playground

Jacobs Drive Reserve sits behind the community centre and kindergarten and contains the Sundowner Avenue Playground. There are a number of connected wooden structures with balance beam, monkey bars, hanging discs and flying fox with a main structure with climbing wall and slide. Other activities include swings, swingers and carved wood and metal sculptures, with seating and tables.

Jean Street Reserve Playground

Jean Street Reserve is a small park situated at the rear of Southland, and has a small children's playground. There are two climbing structures with slides, shopfront and tunnel, with separate swings, monkey rungs, and springers. The landscaping, play area and lighting will be redeveloped and enhanced in 2022.

Judd Parade Reserve Playground

The Judd Parade Reserve is a small, fenced corner park with simple play equipment including a climbing structure with slide and tunnel, plus swings and seating.

Kearney Drive Reserve Playground

The Kearney Drive Reserve is a large grassed area with walking and bike trails, playground and half court basketball. The playground has a smaller and larger climbing structure with slides, pole, shopfront and noughts and crosses, with swings and springers. Limited street parking, with seating available.

Keeley Park Playground

A new playground offering an enhanced play experience for children of all ages. New play equipment includes a climbing web with slide, structure with climbing walls, slides, connected walkways, tunnels and monkey rungs, a flying fox, sandpit with water pump, various swings, surfboard springers, and stepping stones. There's a sheltered BBQ area with tables and seating, picnic tables and bubbler.

Keith Styles Reserve Playground

The Keith Styles reserve and memorial garden is a historic space wit a striking granite gate built in 1923 and a drinking fountain from 1910, the earliest existing monument in Mentone. The fenced playground features a number of climbing structures and equipment with slides, tunnels, noughts and crosses, a carousel, poles, sit on animal springers, a toadstool garden, tables and seating.

Kingston Heath Reserve Playground

Kingston Heath Reserve is one of the most popular parks in the Municipality with a range of recreation activities and open space to enjoy. L.L. Stevenson Reserve Playground

L.L. Stevenson Reserve is a grassy open space, lined with trees, with climbing web, playground, shelters, tables, wheelchair friendly paths, accessible toilet with baby change, BBQ, drinking fountain and half court basketball. The playground has a climbing structure with slide and pole, with flying fox, monkey bars, swings and springers. Other facilities include tables, seating and free parking.

Larado Place Reserve Playground

Open landscaped area with large wooden structure containing slides, a flying fox, and chain bridge. a web swing and teacup spinner. Accessible walking paths lead to play space and shelter, with picnic tables, drinking fountain and seating. Limited street parking available.

Laurie Barnett Reserve Playground

Fenced park with a variety of play equipment in a landscaped space. The Jacks Avenue Playground has a small slide with counting beads and shop front, swings, totem pole, a four person and solo springer, and a larger connected climbing structure with chain bridge, steering wheel and slide. Seating and limited street parking available.

Le Page Park Playground

The Le Page Park Playground has been recently refurbished into a landscaped area with wooden structures, climbing equipment, swings, slides, a flying fox, monkey bars and activities including noughts and crosses. There are tables, seats and shade from large nearby trees.

Legana Court Reserve Playground

Fenced, tree-filled park with play equipment including a connected structure with slide, walkways, chain ladder and climbing pole, teacup spinner with wooden springer, toadstools and swings. There is also half-court basketball, a drinking fountain, seating and picnic tables.

Leonard Close Reserve Playground

Leonard Close Reserve is a small fenced park adjacent to Clarinda Shopping Centre. There is a variety of play equipment including a curved slide, and walkway, sliding pole, log roll, swings, monkey bars and two-person horse. Accessible paths and free parking, with picnic table and seating.

Lincoln Drive Reserve Playground

The Lincoln Drive Reserve is a fenced park with a variety of play equipment. There is a series of connected structures with ladders, bridges, suspended discs and a slide. Separate swings, and springer, with seating, limited street parking available.

Lochiel Avenue Reserve Playground

Lochiel Avenue Reserve has newly created landscaped play areas with wooden climbing structures with slides, walkways, bridges and ladders. There is soft floor spaces with swings, and carousel, a new shelter with picnic table. Wheel chair friendly paths and equipment, with drinking fountain, seating and bike stands. Limited street parking available.

Lorna Street Reserve Playground

The Lorna Street Reserve offers walking trails beside the gardens of the Community of the Holy Name and newly built play spaces. The playground has been recently upgraded to include a wooden climbing structure with slide and fire pole, a climbing web, carousel, swings, and springers. There are new landscaped gardens and a shelter, with picnic table, accessible paths and drinking fountain.

Luain Avenue Reserve Playground

The Luain Avenue Reserve is a small, fenced neighbourhood park with accessible paths and refurbished play equipment. The playground has a tall wooden climbing structure with two slides and walkways, with monkey bars, three springers and a teacup spinner. There is a shelter with picnic table, drinking fountain and seating, limited street parking available.

Marriott Street Reserve Playground

The Marriott Street Reserve is a small, garden-fringed park with playground area. Play equipment includes four swings, monkey bars, flying fox, slide, curly pole and a springer, seating and limited street parking available.

Mavis Hutter Reserve Playground

Mavis Hutter Reserve is a large, grassed open space with a walking loop, exercise stations, an off leash dog area and a playground. Plans are underway to refurbish parts of the reserve, including an improved play area. The renewal will feature a new neighbourhood level play-space with play equipment for children of all ages.

McDonald-Healy Reserve Playground

Fenced playground fringed with landscaped gardens and a variety of play equipment. The playground has a larger climbing structure with ramp, bridge, monkey bars, sliding pole and slide. A smaller structure has a pipe, shopfront and noughts and crosses, a separate space has a set of swings, and there is a sandpit in the corner. There are picnic tables and seating with limited street parking nearby.

Mentone Foreshore Playground

Located next to the Mentone Life Saving Club, the playground's wooden play structure is inspired by driftwood shacks for great views across Port Phillip Bay.

Mentone Racecourse Reserve Playground

The reserve honours its past with the playground decorated with images of racehorses, horse statues and ride on springers, as well as a wooden maze, flying fox, slides, swings and a sandpit. A lake with water fountains, home to ducks and water birds, is the centrepiece of the park which can be enjoyed by walking trails and bridges taking you around the landscaped open areas.

Meppel Drive Reserve Playground

Meppel Drive Reserve is a small landscaped space with garden beds and shady trees. There is a basic playground with swings and a horse-shaped springer, accessible paths and seating.

Meribah Court Reserve Playground

The Meribah Court Reserve is a small open space bordered by garden beds around a path connecting local streets. There is a small playground with climbing structure with slide, shop front, and noughts and crosses, separate swings, and springers with seating available.

Mernda Avenue Reserve Playground

Merri Drive Reserve Playground

Tree-lined open space with a variety of play equipment. Playground includes mini curved rock climbing wall, family see saw, swings, slide, springer, and standing pole in among a large grassed area and paths, with seating. Limited street parking.

Namatjira Park Playground

Namatjira Park provides a wide range of social and family recreation, sport, play and environmental experiences. The children's playground provides equipment and activities for all ages and abilities, with climbing structures, swings, flying fox, monkey bars, an under cover BBQ/picnic area, drinking fountains, public toilets, with on site car parking available.

Page Street Reserve Playground

Small, tree-filled park with grassed play area and playground. The playground comprises a climbing structure with slide, fire pole, ladders, shop front and steering wheel, separate swings and seating.

Palm Grove Reserve Playground

Palm Grove Reserve is a quaint park with accessible paths that connect through to the Mordialloc Creek trail, and a variety of play equipment and activities. The playground spaces include a three-wall climbing structure, stepping stones, activity boards showing music and movement, springers, swings and seating.

Perry Street Reserve Playground

The Perry Street Reserve is a small triangular park in the shadows of St Kilda's old home ground of Moorabbin Oval. The park has been refurbished to provide a new play space including ladders, rock climb wall, slides, shop front and pipe, a huge bird nest swing, monkey bars, climbing net, sand pit and motorbike see-saw, and the Moorabbin Express train.

Peter Scullin Reserve Playground

Note - this playground is temporarily closed for repairs. This pirate themed playground has shaded play areas with a large pirate ship, flying fox, slides, swings, climbing mats and poles and activities including noughts and crosses, and an abacus. Facilities include tables, seats, a BBQ area and ticketed car parking.

Phillip Street Reserve Playground

All aboard the Phillip Street express. This small, fenced triangular park backs onto the railway, and is decorated with a locomotive and train carriages. There is a playground with two slides, a shop front and counting beads on a climbing structure, swings, spinner, springer, and a sandpit with digger.

Reg Marlow Reserve Playground

The Reg Marlow Reserve provides entertainment and recreation to humans and animals of all ages, with a playground, outdoor gym equipment and a newly refurbished fenced dog park. The playground features a number of wooden structures with climbing walls, poles and slides, with connected trails with chain bridges and monkey bars. There are numerous activities including two mini shops, see-saw, swings

Regents Park Playground

Regents Park is home to a variety of sport and recreational uses and houses the Jack Cuthbertson memorial garden honouring the renowned artist, educator, sustainability activist and former local mayor. The playground sits in a tree-filled space with two climbing structures with slides, tunnels, abacus, pole, stepping stones, and swings.

Rowan Road Reserve Playground

Rowan Woodland Flora and Fauna Reserve is a conservation area tucked in among a busy sports precinct with netball, tennis and baseball facilities. The playground has a number of wooden structures with play activities including swings, a flying fox, monkey bars, stepping stones, sliding pole, chin up bars and springers.

Roy Dore Reserve Playground

Little ones can revisit the time of swashbuckling high seas adventures in the pirate themed playground featuring a large ship with gangplanks, walkways, climbing wall, rigging, canons, cubby, tic-tac-toe, slides, a pirates treasure maze, sandpit, swings, trolls and toadstools with shade sails, tables & BBQ.

Royal Palms Reserve Playground

The Royal Palms Playground is a tree-lined, grassy open space featuring a large climbing web frame, swings, a slide, and two springers, with seating available.

Scotch Parade Reserve Playground

Narrow grassed area with playground comprising swings, a two-person, and a four-person see saw, and seating.

Scott Avenue Reserve Playground

The Scott Avenue Reserve is a large-grassed open space, with play equipment and half court basketball. The playground comprises a small structure with shop front and slide, connecting to monkey bars, stepping stones and horizontal bars. There are separate swings and springers, with concrete half court basketball and seating.

Serpentine Court Reserve Playground

The Serpentine Court Reserve is a lakeside grassed area with play equipment, picnic tables, garden beds, shady trees and seating. The fenced playground area contains a connected climbing structure with two slides, a bridge, rope ladder, spinning wheel, clock, shop front, disc ladder and slide pole. There are separate swings, bench seats and waterfront walking trails.

Sheldon Place Reserve Playground

Sheldon Place Reserve is a tree-lined, open grassed space in between two local cul-de-sacs with play equipment and seating. The playground has a structure accessed by chain bridge and ladder with slide, fire pole and spiral ladder, with separate swings and under-tree seating.

Sherbrooke Avenue Reserve Playground

The Sherbrooke Avenue Reserve playground is within a large grassed area, comprising a new playspace which focuses on younger ages groups and includes a basket swing, junior and senior swings, talking tubes, a sand pit with sand play equipment and a social play unit for climbing, balancing and traversing that can accommodate up to 38 kids at once, with new improved park furniture and facilities.

Silver Street Reserve Playground

Small, tree-filled play space next to the Cheltenham East Primary School. There is a playground with central climbing structure with a tunnel, abacus, noughts and crosses, shop front and two slides, with separate springer, swings and seating.

Sir William Fry Reserve Playground

Sir William Fry Reserve is a large community space offering rolling hills, a playground, skate park, a pond and lake, walking trails and picnic areas. The reserve has a wide variety of play equipment for all ages spread out around the landscaped grounds.

Southern Road Reserve Playground

The Southern Road Reserve has upgraded its sporting facilities, for all gender use, and provided a new play space with equipment and activities for all ages. The playground features a number of wooden structures with slides, cubby, climbing walls and bridges, sliding poles and tunnels, a carousel, swings, see-saw, and obstacle course, with a shelter, tables, BBQ area.

St Georges Crescent Reserve Playground

The St Georges Crescent Reserve is a small heart shaped park comprising large open grassy areas bordered by trees with a central walking path, seating and small play area. The playground has a modern climbing structure, with a standing spinner and swings on a soft surface.

Stanley Avenue Reserve Playground

The Stanley Avenue Reserve is a small landscaped space next to the Cheltenham library with wide accessible paths, open grass areas, and a variety of play equipment. Kids can enjoy a train ride in the playground, meet a caterpillar and ladybird, or use a variety of swings, slides, and climbing equipment in a fenced space. Picnic tables, tap, shelter and seating available, limited street parking.

Talab Reserve Playground

Neighbourhood park with open grassy spaces with accessible paths and and play equipment. The playground comprises a structure with two slides, climbing web and pole, swings, springers, see-saw and birds nest swinger, with seating, picnic tables, drinking fountain and shelter.

The Grange Reserve Playground

The Grange Reserve commemorates a momentous day in local, and universe, history. The UFO themed park was designed in honour of an event that took place on the morning of April 6, 1966 when at least 90 students and teachers witnessed three 'flying saucers' hovering over their school oval. One of the craft landed at the current location of the park.

The Heath Estate Common Playground

The Heath Estate Common is a wide open relaxing space with palm tree lined pathways, trees that provide autumnal colour, and a wisteria topped shelter. The refurbished playground provides equipment and activities including triple swing frame, nature play, climbing structure, rock wall, carousel, tube slide, and climbing net, with new garden beds, trees, paths, seating and picnic tables.

Third Avenue Reserve Playground

The Third Avenue Reserve is a small, fenced landscaped park with grassy area, garden beds, drinking fountain, shelter, and a variety of play equipment. The playground had a large wooden combination structure, with shop front, climbing wall, and slide, with separate climbing bars and four-person see-saw springer.

Victory Park Reserve Playground

Victory Park is a seaside themed playground featuring a lighthouse and sand castles next to the beach at Chelsea. Climb up to the lighthouse on its spiral staircase for great views across the Bay, or enjoy the sand castle shaped climbing structures, sand pit diggers, swings and a boat. There are a number of shelters, ideal for children’s parties, with tables, seating, drinking fountains, BBQs.

Walter Galt Reserve Playground

Walter Galt Reserve is a former landfill site turned into a sporting and recreation precinct.
Ongoing improvements to the park, as part of the Walter Gait Master Plan, have seen the completion of new walking and jogging paths with exercise stations, new all ages friendly playground with new play equipment, off leash dog park, and the provision of new shelters, BBQ, picnic tables and seating.

Warraweena Road Reserve Playground

Warraweena Road Reserve is an open grassed space with half court basketball, and a new accessible, all ages playground. The refurbishment included the construction of new play equipment for all ages, including a basket swing, junior and senior swing, sand pit, spring rocker, spinner, combination unit with slides, climbing net, suspension bridge and rock wall, with new landscaping and paths.

White Street Reserve Playground

The White Street Reserve is a quaint corner park where you can meet some quirky animal sculptures, relax in the shade of the trees, enjoy the grassy area or play on the variety of equipment. The fenced Barkly Street Playground features a large wooden structure with climbing ladders, walkway, bridge, pole and slides, with swings, hanging bar, drinking fountain, tables and seating.

William J Bardoel Reserve Playground

The William J Bardoel Reserve offers relaxing walking trails around a pond and landscaped gardens, grassed open space, play equipment and half court basketball. The playground has a climbing structure with noughts and crosses, a slide and a sliding pole, with separate swings and two horse springers. There are picnic tables, seats and a drinking fountain, with limited street parking available.

Williams Close Reserve Playground

The Williams Close Reserve is a gum tree-lined neighbourhood park with a small playground comprising a climbing frame with monkey bars and a slide, two swings and two springers.

Winners Circle Reserve Playground

Winners Circle Playground is a grassy open space with paths connecting to the Mordialloc Creek trail, shady trees and play equipment. The playground has a connected structures with ladders up to a slide, stepping stones, chain bridge, monkey wrench bars and horizontal bars, with separate swings, a springer and seating.
