Home care
If you're aged 65 and over or have a disability, the City of Kingston has a range of services, to support you to live independently in your own home for as long as you wish to.
At the beginning of your ageing journey you may just need one or two services. For instance, you may start off with some fortnightly housework. As your needs increase, you may require more services such as shopping and personal care.
If you are in need of many services multiple times per week, you may be approved for a Home Care Package. With a home care package package you receive budget and you can choose how your money is spent. You can also access additional services including podiatry, nursing, occupational therapy and purchase equipment. You are also allocated a care manager who can support you to make the most of your budget and provide advice to you along the way.
