Drainage and civil works permits

Engineering assessments are important for town planning applications.

This process ensures all developments and subdivisions can provide appropriate services so they do not overload, or cause problems to the infrastructure in place. We assess things like stormwater drainage, flooding, roads, traffic, parking and lighting.

New residential estates are also assessed to make sure they meet Australian Standards, ResCode and our policies ensure that the best design and construction methods are used.

Apply for drainage or civil approval

You must get your Condition 1 plans endorsed by Town Planning before you apply. We are unable to make any exceptions.

Applications take up to six weeks to process for an initial assessment. If you have any further queries please call us on 1300 653 356.
