Groves Reserve is a remnant pocked of Banksia Woodland wedged in between the highway and train line offering walking and cycling trails connecting the Aspendale foreshore with Mordialloc Creek Reserve.
The reserve features a sandy path through natural scrub and woodland with a bench and memorial plaque to local volunteer Alan Peter Jones.
