Aspendale Beach Aspendale beach is a beautiful three kilometre stretch of wide, flat sand, with low dunes and grass, dotted with historic beach huts. The beach is only 200m from Aspendale train station, with an accessible ticketed car park, boardwalk, shower, and toilet, benches and picnic tables. The beach is patrolled by the Aspendale Life Saving Club, with an off-leash dog area.
Bonbeach Beach Bonbeach features a wide sandy 1.5 km beach with iconic bathing boxes, and natural habitat connecting Chelsea Beach to the north and Patterson River to the south. It is a wheelchair friendly beach with accessible toilets, shower, paths and ticketed parking and an off-leash dog area. The beach is patrolled by the Bonbeach Life Saving Club.
Carrum Beach Carrum beach stretches 2km from Patterson River south to neighbouring Seaford. There is a boardwalk, the large playground, with shelters, tables, toilets, drinking fountain, deck chairs, BBQ area and new open space area. There is an off-leash dog area, car park and Surf Life Saving Club.
Chelsea Beach and Victory Park Chelsea beach is located a short 250m walk from Chelsea train station, with accessible ticketed parking on Camp Street. The beach is a long sandy stretch, with dunes and beach huts dotted along the shore. The Victory Park playground is a popular spot for visitors with play equipment, BBQs, picnic tables, and toilets, with beach showers and off-leash dog areas.
Chelsea Yacht Club The historic Chelsea Yacht Club dates back to 1938, with the facilities recently renovated and expanded to provide enhanced storage, bar, kitchen, restroom and services. The club has accessible ticketed car parking, footpath, toilets and shower facilities.
Dixon St Beach car park Ticketed car park overlooking, and providing stair access to Mentone beach and Nigel's Rock. Facilities include accessible shower, change room, baby change and toilets, with picnic tables and shelters in grassed areas off the walking and bike trail.
Edithvale Beach The Edithvale beach comprises the wide sandy foreshore with low sand dunes, numerous historic beach huts and a designated off-leash dog area. The beach is served by the recently refurbished state-of-the-art Life Saving Club, with accessible showers, paths and toilets, in front of a reserve with tables, seats and a War Memorial.
Horse Paddock Beach Historic beach with a long association with horse training in the Kingston area and that still allows horse walking and swimming mornings before 10am. The beach has a bronze horse statue commemorating the area's history, along with showers, a drinking fountain, BBQ, bike stands, a foreshore walking trail, off-leash dog and horse areas, and a ticketed car park.
Mentone Beach The Mentone Beach is the northern starting point of a long stretch of curved coast stretching from towering bluffs at Rickets Point, around the edge of what was known as Beaumaris Bay. It contains one of Melbourne's most popular 24hour dog beaches, life saving club with shower and toilets, car parks, picnic tables and seating.
Mordialloc Beach One Melbourne's most popular and historic areas with strong First Nations associations, Mordialloc Beach also has a long history of boat building and horse racing. There is a wide, flat beach, with walking trails, surf life saving club,showers, toilets, off-leash dog area, car parks, the expansive Peter Scullin Reserve and the famous 300 metre long pier.
Parkdale Beach Parkdale Beach stretches 1.5km with adjoining concrete walking path. There are open grassed areas on higher ground with tables, drinking fountain and BBQs, as well as a war memorial near the highway and the Parkdale Yacht Club. A cafe and beach kiosk has nearby public toilets, showers, and accessible parking, with off-leash dog areas on the beach.
Peter Scullin Reserve Peter Scullin Reserve is a hugely popular park and community space, and is home to the annual Mordi Fest. Located behind Mordialloc beach, with the creek at its southern border and paths leading to the historic Mordialloc pier. The reserve has picnic tables and seats, with a BBQ area, accessible showers and toilets, expansive playground, and historic rotunda, home to the Mordialloc District Band.
Watkins Reserve Watkins Reserve is a small bushland foreshore reserve providing access to Aspendale beach from the highway. The reserve comprises native vegetation, a stormwater treatment garden, shaded picnic table and seats, a tap and shower, with limited accessible parking.
