Safer roads and better transport

Level Crossing Removal Project – Highett

Highett Road and Wickham Road will soon be the last remaining level crossings on the Frankston railway line, but recently the project was delayed until 2031/32. Council is advocating for this project to be expedited, not delayed.

Level Crossing Removal Project – Latrobe Street Mentone

As part of the State Government’s program to remove level crossings along the Frankston Line, the level crossing at Latrobe Street, Mentone is proposed to be permanently closed.

Better bus services

Increasing the frequency and operating hours of bus services across major routes would significantly improve connectivity and provide a more convenient alternative to car use.

Let’s fix the roads

Across Kingston, some of our major roads need urgent maintenance. Many people don’t realise that Kingston is responsible for local roads, but not major roads like the Nepean Highway, Centre Dandenong Road and Lower Dandenong Road.

We’re seeking your support to tell our candidates to commit to fixing our major roads. The longer our roads go without urgently needed maintenance, the more expensive they will be to fix in the future.

Find a major road project in the map below and show your support for our campaign to fix some of our worst maintained roads.
