Major upgrades are taking place as part of a $12.5 million redevelopment to transform Roy Dore Reserve into the new Carrum Sports Precinct.

Kingston Council, the Federal Government, the Victorian Government, Cricket Victoria, AFL Victoria and local sporting clubs are partnering together on the impressive project to create a home for a host of sporting and community groups in new and upgraded facilities.

Completed improvements include:

  • New two-storey sports pavilion with female-friendly change facilities and disability access
  • Cricket net upgrades
  • New sports lighting for Oval1 and 2
  • Upgrade four tennis courts to sand-filled artificial grass, and two courts to acrylic hard court
  • Off-leash dog park
  • New fence for Oval 1 
  • Two new acrylic hard court Netball Courts, with lighting and player shelters
  • New tennis pavilion
  • Upgrade scoreboards for Ovals 1 & 2
