Nominations have opened for the Kingston Women of the Year Awards that celebrate the outstanding contribution that local women make to community, society, and industry.

Do you know a woman who inspires others or who has made a significant difference to our community through their exceptional professional or personal achievements? If so, it’s time to get your nomination form in!

Mayor Jenna Davey-Burns said we want to inspire all women and girls to know their talents count, and we are a city that puts our values into action.

“Representation really matters. That is why we host these awards. We shine a light on the ways women in differing roles, from all backgrounds and with a myriad of talents and passions, contribute so positively to our communities,” Cr Davey-Burns said.

“I’m really looking forward to hearing more about the inspiring women we have in our city.”

Nominations close on Sunday 6 October 2024. The winners of the 2025 Kingston Women of the Year Awards will be announced at Kingston’s International Women’s Day event on Friday 7 March 2025.
