Birds are everywhere! Our backyards, balconies, local parks, and schoolyards - they have powerful stories to tell about the health of our environment. Right now, 1 in 6 Australian bird species is at risk of extinction, making it more important than ever to tune in.

This October, we’re joining forces with BirdLife Australia for the Annual Aussie Bird Count.

Guided Bird Discovery Walk

Perfect for beginners and curious birdwatchers alike, this walk will help you spot and identify birds while learning tips on bird ID, counting techniques, and data collection.

Join bird expert Angus Hamilton fromLife Gone Wild for a relaxed morning spotting and learning about the birds of Braeside Park. Whether you’re brand new to birding or an experienced enthusiast, this tour will give you fresh insights and plenty of feathered encounters.
