FishAbility by Fishcare

Fishing sessions catering for those living with disability facilitated by qualified Fishcare staff and volunteers. Equipment supplied, carers welcome and encouraged.

Kingston residents with disability (and their Carer) are invited to use the pool for free during the Big Break week!

Just mention Big Break to the friendly staff member at the front counter.

Want to try the SWEAT Aqua class?

SWEAT Aqua sessions are run by qualified instructors and are designed for individuals with acquired brain injuries, Motor Neurone Diseases, or similar conditions. Carers encouraged if necessary. Sessions help build confidence, strength, mobility, and co-ordination in a safe and social environment.

Talk and writing workshop: Maribel and her Guide Dog

Maribel from Guide Dogs Victoria is a freelance writer, author, international speaker, and educator who is also a Guide Dog user.

She will talk about her experiences, answer questions, and run a writing workshop for families.

Photographic Exhibition: HOME by Photographer Paul Dunn

Home offers a glimpse into the lived experiences of people living with a disability. The exhibition advocates for the right of choice for people living with a disability.

Starfish Nippers Come and Try Day

Enjoy the beach and try Starfish Nippers, a disability-inclusive program providing water safety and awareness for children.

Activities include traditional beach games, beach running, beach flags, swimming, board skills, water familiarisation, beach and surf safety, and music.

For children ages 6+.
