We celebrate the importance of our older residents with the Kingston Seniors Festival. The Festival is an annual event held in October that provides older people with the opportunity to discover local activities and join clubs and groups within the community.
We work with local clubs and organisations to ensure there are plenty of opportunities for you to meet people and participate in the things you love. Whether you enjoy art, music, dancing or many other interests, you are sure to find something you enjoy within Kingston.
The annual Centenarian Event provides an opportunity to demonstrate our respect to senior residents who have reached the milestone of 100 years of age.
Through AccessCare, we offer both the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Support at Home which assists with maintaining your independence and functional health so you can continue to live independently.
If you are looking for an opportunity to support others or meet new people, we offer a wide variety of volunteer roles to match different interests and skill sets.

The Kingston Seniors Festival celebrates ageing positively throughout the month of October and recognises the important contribution older people make to our community.
The Festival is an annual event that provides older people with the opportunity to discover local activities and join clubs and groups within the community.
Planning for this year’s festival has commenced. More information about this year’s festival will be available in September. The Victorian Seniors Festival also offers many seniors events outside Kingston to find out more visit Victorian Seniors Festival.
There are over 40 Senior and Probus Clubs in Kingston. They promote active and healthy living through social and recreational activities, games, craft, music, outings and more. Some Senior Clubs represent different cultural and language groups where members can share their cultural heritage including traditional meals and celebrate cultural events.

Each September, we host an annual '100 Years of Memories Luncheon' to celebrate the lives of senior residents who have reached the milestone of 100 years of age.
The Centenarians, and two of their guests, are invited to the event which includes a two-course lunch, musical performance and presentations of gifts and certificates by the Mayor.
