E-waste

E-waste, or electronic waste, is anything with a plug, cord, or battery, such as:

  • computers
  • phones
  • televisions

How do I dispose of e-waste?

For working items, donate to an op shop or sell online via Facebook, or Gumtree.

E-waste contains precious metals that can be recycled and turned into new items. E-waste is also one of the leading causes of truck fires. Please do not put e-waste in your household bins.
Small items

Small items should be able to fit inside a household wheelie bin. Small items can be dropped off at one of our collection points:

Large items

Larger items, e.g. 60 inch TVs or printers can be taken to one of the below locations.
