The Bonbeach Reserve has been part of the sporting history of the area for more than 50 years.

The reserve has five football/cricket ovals, with cricket nets, two netball courts and club rooms. Oval #5 is available to locals as an off-leash dog area.

The Bonbeach Cricket Club has a history stretching back to the 1960s, while the Bonbeach Sharks Football Club was formed in 1962, combining with the Bonbeach Netball Club in 2011.

There is a fenced modern playground featuring connected wooden structures with a variety of play equipment including climbing wall, rope ladder, sliding pole, dual wave slide, flying fox, monkey bars, sand pit, swings, spinners and balance beam.

There are sheltered tables with BBQ and seating, toilet and drinking fountain. Free parking available.

Council has consulted with the community and local clubs to create the Bonbeach Sports Reserve Master Plan to gauge the current and future needs of local residents, tenants and the community ahead of providing enhanced facilities and improvements for the reserve.
