Major upgrades are taking place to redevelop the GR Bricker Reserve Pavilion and improve the reserve to help meet the needs of growing community demand.

We’ve partnered with the Victorian Government and Australian Government on this project to deliver these impressive new and upgraded facilities.

These improvements include:

  • Redevelopment of the sports pavilion 
  • Replacement of the existing athletics storage shed
  • Installation of new sports lighting to the oval
  • Upgrade the cricket nets to include an additional lane 
  • Upgrade and expansion of car parking facilities
  • Improved pedestrian pathways
  • Upgrade of oval fence upgrade
  • Improved pathways and wayfinding 
  • Additional tree planting and garden beds

Construction works are underway and due for completion in 2024.

Access to GR Bricker will be maintained throughout the pavilion works, with a dedicated works zone and temporary change facilities installed to support the clubs. There will be no construction on Sundays and Public Holidays, with work hours scheduled for 7am – 6pm on weekdays, and 7am – 3.30pm on Saturdays.

We apologise for any inconvenience throughout construction and will minimise dust and noise disruption wherever possible, while maintaining a safe work site.
