Thousands of you turned out to bring community cheer to Moorabbin – and are all set for party number two!

Moorabbin Junction After Dark Series is a free all-ages event celebrating art, music, food, and community.

The fun Glow Trail, silent disco and glowing mini golf were big hits with our younger community members and the after-dark fire dancer enthralled everyone.

The Junction was transformed into a vibrant hub of colour, creativity, and entertainment and we can’t wait to go again on Friday 10 October.

It’s a chance for the community to enjoy Moorabbin in fun, family-friendly atmosphere while also supporting local businesses.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to support our local traders - whether that’s by enjoying a meal, grabbing a drink, or exploring one of the many businesses staying open late to welcome everyone with special deals.

Highlights will include:

  • Glow Trail – follow the lights, discover glowing murals, and unlock hidden surprises
  • Live music – enjoy sounds that fill the streets and set the vibe
  • Exciting fire dancer
  • Late-night local eats & drinks – Moorabbin Junction businesses serving up delicious food, drinks, and special offers
  • Roving illuminated performers – glowing characters bringing sparkle to the streets
  • Silent disco & DJ – dance the night away
  • Neon artworks by Volter International – perfect backdrops for that festival selfie
  • Moorabbin Junction’s new wall mural – artists Lucy Desbordes and Katerine Gailer have co-designed a glowing mural with local young people
  • Party prizes & giveaways – plenty of reasons to play and join in the fun.

The event, from 5pm to 9pm, fully accessible and designed to be enjoyed by all ages, is on Station Street and Central Avenue, next to Moorabbin Station, making it easy to get there by train or bus and avoid parking hassles.
