Illegal parking

Our parking officers patrol the municipality daily to enforce parking restrictions. During the summer months, we have more patrols to manage increased parking demands.

If you notice an illegally parked vehicle, you can report it by phone on 1300 653 356 or using the online form below.

Call 000 if an illegally parked vehicle is presenting an immediate threat to safety.

Please note the following:

  • Your report will be forwarded to the relevant team for evaluation and processing.
  • If possible, we’ll redirect a patrolling officer to attend and investigate.
  • We’ll need to prove a parking offence is occurring. This may take time and require more than one visit.
  • We may not always issue a fine. For example, if signs are no longer in effect or if the driver follows an officer’s direction to move.
