E-waste

E‑waste, or electronic waste, is anything with a plug, cord, or battery, such as computers, kettles, toasters, televisions, etc.

How do I dispose of e‑waste?

Please do not put e‑waste in your household bins. E‑waste is one of the leading causes of truck fires.

For working items, donate to an op shop or sell online via Facebook, or Gumtree. E‑waste contains precious metals that can be recycled and turned into new items.

Small items

You can dispose of small items by dropping them into our e-waste wheelie bins at one of our collection points:

Large items

Larger items, e.g. 60-inch TVs, can be taken to one of the below locations. You can also dispose of larger items by booking a hard waste collection service or drop off at your nearest transfer station.
