NAIDOC 25 Exhibition: Strength, Resilience, Connection

09 Jul 2025 Leslie J Stanley, is a Wuli Wuli elder and artist from Central West Queensland and Chrissyray Weetra, a young emerging artist of the Warumungu and Arrente tribes. Les and Chrissyray form a bridge of time and experience highlighting their strength and resilience that comes from looking forward while staying connected to their land and culture.

NAIDOC painting workshop with Chrissyray Weetra

12 Jul 2025 Every piece will be your own tribute to the strength and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, while celebrating connection in the community. This will be a fun and welcoming workshop suitable for ages 6 and over. You can also see Chrissyray's paintings in the exhibition Strength, Resilience, Connection showing in the Bayley Arts Gallery until 25th July.
