Carrum’s Foreshore Playground is a popular beachside destination that has reached the end of its lifecycle and needs an upgrade. Classified as a district-level playground, future improvements will include: 

  • Picnic spaces, BBQs and drink fountains, and areas for social gatherings.
  • Accessible paths and play elements.
  • Imaginative, sensory, and social play opportunities.
  • Climbing structures, slides, and swings.
  • Nature play, art features, and garden beds.

Playgrounds play a vital role in strengthening our community by providing safe, shared spaces where children socialise, and develop important physical and social skills. Funding will enable the delivery of modern equipment to better support the local community now and into the future.
