When the new Cheltenham SRL station is completed, the suburb will have lost several hectares of parkland in one of the community’s favourite parks – Sir William Fry Reserve.
Candidates at this state election need to commit to ensuring that the Sir Wiliam Fry Reserve is protected to the greatest extent possible and improved so that the community can enjoy liveable open space, facilities that replace what has been lost, and the chance to be active in their own neighbourhood.
