Moorabbin Airport is one of Australia’s busiest airports, and a major training facility for commercial pilots. There are almost 300,000 aircraft movements a year, and around 25% of Australian trained pilots learn to fly at Moorabbin.
We need to ensure that increased development around Moorabbin Airport doesn’t threaten the safety or viability of our airport.
Our candidates for state parliament need to advocate for proper strategic planning at the airport to ensure the right balance between development and aviation.
