Edithvale Common is a well-loved destination for sport and community recreation, supporting football, soccer, cricket and a range of local activities.
With participation continuing to grow, particularly among female teams, upgrades are needed to ensure the reserve remains welcoming, inclusive and fit for purpose.
Planned improvements include an upgraded pavilion with female-friendly change rooms, enhanced accessibility, new sports lighting, improved cricket facilities, a pump and BMX track, and expanded parking.
With support from the State Government, these upgrades will create a more functional and inclusive environment for the thousands of players, officials and visitors each month, while supporting the continued growth of local sport.
