The Kingston Arts Precinct is a significant community asset, valued for its heritage and vibrant cultural activity, and presents a unique opportunity to be reimagined as a dynamic cultural hub that reflects community aspirations and strengthens local identity.

At its heart is Kingston City Hall, opened in 1963 as the Moorabbin Town Hall and designed as a landmark of the district’s growth; today it remains Kingston’s largest cultural venue with significant untapped potential.

Following extensive community consultation, a long-term plan has been developed to revitalise the entire precinct. Investment will support upgraded facilities and expanded cultural opportunities to ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of the community.
