We are delivering a major upgrade along Tootal Road, Dingley Village, between McClure Road and the Dingley Bypass. These works are part of our commitment to improving road safety, drainage and active transport connections for the local community.

What's included:

  • a full road reconstruction with new surfacing and intersection improvements
  • drainage upgrades to address flooding that has affected the area during heavy rain, and a new Shared Use Path (SUP) that will provide a safer route for people walking and cycling along the corridor, as well as a new pedestrian island across Tootal Road.

While trees will need to be removed to accommodate the road reconstruction and SUP within the road reserve, we have endeavoured to retain as many mature trees as possible and aligned the new SUP around some of them. New trees will be planted locally at a 3:1 ratio - meaning more trees will be planted than removed, improving long-term canopy cover for the community.
