Behind the colourful hoarding on Governor Road, work is well underway on the new Mordi Aquatic Centre.
The site compound has been established and approximately 20,000 tonnes of soil has been excavated, sifted, stabilised and re-used on site to form the platform for upcoming piling and building construction.
Protecting the environment is a key focus of this project. By reusing soil on-site, we've already made great progress toward our target of diverting 90% of construction waste from landfill.
ADCO will continue to recycle and divert construction waste with our trade partners and suppliers throughout the build.
