Significant expansion works are taking place to redevelop Carrum Surf Life Saving Club to help meet the needs of growing community demand.

We’ve partnered with the Victorian Government on this project to deliver this impressive new and upgraded facility.

The expansion works include:

  • expanded ground floor storage capacity
  • additional change facilities to allow for separation of junior/senior members
  • a separate family change room
  • provision of a first-floor deck to support observation/lifesaving activity
  • creation of first floor lifesaver facilities to support training/observation activity
  • extended first floor layout with additional office and dry storage space
  • realignment of the foreshore ramp to support ease of vehicle movement
  • minor refurbishments, including upgrading the existing cladding

Access to the beach will be maintained throughout the works, with temporary club facilities located along the foreshore car park to ensure beach operations and programs can continue during construction.

Construction works are due for completion in late 2023.
