Kingston City Council is made up of two road networks - municipal roads that Council is responsible for, and state-owned arterial roads managed by the Department of Transport and Planning.
Kingston's Road Management Plan defines the conditions and standards for inspecting, maintaining and repairing public roads, footpaths, bridges and culverts within Council's municipality. The Road Management Plan 2025-2029 was adopted at Council's Ordinary Council Meeting on 23 June 2025.
