The family-friendly event will begin with a guided walk through the reserve, including a fun, interactive scavenger hunt designed to help children spot plants, animals, and signs of life in the wetlands.
Participants will then use interactive water bug kits, guided by our Conservation Officers, to observe and identify the remarkable macroinvertebrates that inhabit our local waterways.
Please bring: A backpack with a light snack and water. Wear: Comfortable, closed-in shoes. Suitable for: Children aged 5 to 12 years.
