Australia's beloved street art festival, Wall to Wall, is set to ignite the vibrant streets of Mordi Village with an explosion of creativity and culture from the 26 – 28 April.

Curated by the award-winning street art collective Juddy Roller, ten walls will be transformed into large scale murals during a weekend-long festival.

The full lineup of high-profile Australian and international artists includes George Rose, Adnate, Smug, Blo, Fred Battle (Zoer), Justine McAllister, Filthy Ratbag, Tommy Day, Drez, as well as Mordi Village resident, Kyle Brightside.

This exciting project will leave an exciting legacy, culminating in a self-guided art trail, that will encourage local and destination visitation to Kingston.

Along with the artists and their works, the festival will showcase local businesses, live music, gourmet food, artists talks and family friendly activations such as:

Bikecraft

Who: Bikecraft is a custom bike builder and parts manufacturing shop specialising in Harley Davidson and other road bikes.
Where: 53 Governor Road, Mordialloc.
What: Check out their showroom display and enjoy a coffee, toasted sandwich or beverage from the bar.
(Note: Alcoholic beverages are not available until after 12 noon as per their liquor licence)

Braeside Brewing Co.

Who: Braeside Brewing Co. is an independent family-owned brewery and eatery with craft beers, stone-fired pizzas and a tempting bar menu.
Where: 43 Governor Road, Mordialloc.
What: Sign up for their free brewing process tour and enjoy a free schooner with any meal while you're there!
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 12pm - 2pm
Cost: The tour is free, and you can enjoy a free schooner with a purchased meal.

BrightSide Art

Who: Kyle from BrightSide Art is an experienced artist known for his bright, bold and fun designs inspired by native flora and fauna, skateboarding and surf culture. Kyle specialises in large-scale murals, his unique School Mural Program, school holiday workshops and community art programs for at-risk and disadvantaged young people.
Where: Workshops at Urban Ground. Paint by numbers located at the Corner of Kareela Street and Lamana Road, Mordialloc
What: Attend a LIMITED Skateboard Art Workshop at Urban Ground on Saturday. Paint your very own skateboard to take home! Limited spaces available. Or attend a free 'paint by numbers' workshop on Saturday and leave your lasting legacy at Wall to Wall on one of the Mordi Village walls.
When: Saturday - Skateboard Art Workshop from 10am, Saturday - Community Paint by Numbers, 11am - 1pm
Cost: Saturday Skateboard Art Workshop $35. Saturday Community Paint By Numbers is a free workshop.
Booking information: No bookings are required; however, limited spaces are available. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. The free workshop is suitable for people aged seven years and older.

Glittery Tapping Wonderland

Who: Glittery Tapping Wonderland is a glittery dance school based on positivity, imagination, and having a good time.
Where: 2 Lamana Road, Mordialloc.
What: People of all ages and abilities can attend free dance workshops and blow some bubbles!

What: Visit the gallery, handmade craft market, food vans and meet artists in their studios. Visit Ellidy on Wheels for coffee and breakfast—demonstration classes from McCanless Pottery.

Where is Mordi Village?

Mordi Village is in the Mordialloc Industrial Precinct, bordered by Governor Road and the Epsom Wetlands.

Is the event free?

You can wander the streets and look at the artworks for free; there will be many free activities. However, there is a cost involved for some classes the local traders will offer. Please read through the activities above to find out more

Is it an all-ages event?

There are many activities for all ages; however, there are age restrictions for several classes and workshops.

Do I need to buy tickets?

You do not need to purchase a ticket for the day; however, some activities require bookings or buying a ticket to attend a class.

How do I get there?

Mordialloc Train Station is 1.1km from Mordi Village. You can access Mordi Village via bus routes 705 and 708. The closest bus stop is J Grut Reserve/Governor Rd.

Sections of Lamana Road will be closed to traffic from 6.00am Saturday 27 April to 11.30pm Sunday 28 April. Kareela St will be open to local traffic only.

Can I bring my dog?

Please check with each business you intend to visit to see if they allow dogs.

Will there be kids activities?

Yes! There are plenty of activities for children.

Is Mordi Village accessible?

Please review the accessibility information for each participating business. If it is not available, please contact the business directly.

Will there be a low sensory space at the event?

There will be a low sensory tent located in the forecourt of Le Studio Art Space & Gallery (24-26 Crown Avenue, Mordialloc).

The DJs will perform towards the Governer Road end of Lamana Road on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm (several blocks away from Le Studio Art Space & Gallery).

Will there be food available?

Yes! Many food businesses and food trucks are participating in the event.
