We are offering a free parenting group to support parents in connecting with their children and understanding their development and behaviour.

Based on the Solihull approach, parents/carers will explore the following topics during the 8-week program:

  • Week 1: Introduction and recognising feelings
  • Week 2: Tuning into your child's developmental needs
  • Week 3: Responding to your child’s feelings
  • Week 4: Different styles of parenting
  • Week 5: Having fun together
  • Week 6: Interactions and sleep
  • Week 7: Self-regulation and anger
  • Week 8: How to recover when things go wrong

This program will be held during Term 2, in a mixed-delivery method format with some sessions held in-person at Westall Community Hub and some held online via Zoom.

Anyone who is a parent/carer of children between 0-8 can attend.
