Held annually in June, Men’s Health Week is an opportunity to try something new, learn more or connect with other men in your community to positively impact health and wellbeing.

There are a range of events and activities running across Kingston during the month of June.

Featuring - Dad Matters

Men showing up differently for themselves and those they care for. Uncles, sports coaches, mentors, grandfathers, and other Dad-like role models all welcome.

Chelsea Frawley presentation

Join mental health advocate Chelsea Frawley for an honest and powerful conversation during Men’s Health Week.

After losing her father, AFL legend Danny “Spud” Frawley, to suicide in 2019, Chelsea has dedicated her work to raising awareness and encouraging life-saving conversations.

Let’s Talk: Men’s Mental Health Matters

Join us for a Men’s Health Week event where Simon shares his personal mental health journey, helping break stigma and encourage open conversations. Learn about Beyond Blue’s support services and how to seek help, followed by a light refreshments and time to connect.

Information session for Dad’s and Dad-like figures

Date: Tuesday 9 June
Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Location: Aspendale Garden’s Community Service,  103-105 Kearney Drive, Aspendale Gardens, VIC 3195

This information session, presented by Relationships Australia, is to support dads with community education and awareness around topics of interest in the developmental needs. This particular session will focus on strategies to help dads manage the emotions of their children, and ways to develop healthy and respectful relationships in their role as a dad.

The session will include discussion on the development stages of children, dealing with escalated emotions, identifying emotional triggers, strategies for self-care, and more.

No cost, registrations essential.

Mordialloc Sea Dip

Take the plunge for men’s health! Join the Mordy Sea Dippers in partnership with Mordialloc Neighbourhood House for a refreshing ocean dip and a chance to connect with other local men.

Part of our men’s health promotion, this is a great opportunity to boost your wellbeing, challenge yourself, and be part of a supportive community.

Dad’s Casual Basketball

Wetlands Walking Group

Dads Playgroup
