Cultural Diversity Week: Kumihimo Workshop at PLCC

a pair of hands holding threads

Celebrate Cultural Diversity Week with jewellery and fashion designer Vivian Qiu in a hands-on Kumihimo braiding workshop. Kumihimo is a traditional Japanese technique for braiding decorative cords used in garments and festival adornment.

In this calm, meditative session, you’ll create your own Life Line cord - a simple, reflective process that encourages mindfulness, emotional expression, and connection with others.

No experience needed. Suitable for beginners. All materials provided.
