Games Club

A monthly club for primary school kids where they can participate in and learn a variety of games, including board games, card games, online games, physical games, and various types of puzzles too. No bookings required.

Shimona and the Cats Pyjamas

A lively jazz trio, comprising of international recording artist Shimona on vocals, sweet-toned clarinet player Amanda Jones, and effervescent gypsy jazz guitarist Adam Russo. No bookings required.

Suitable for primary school age children, LEGO ® Club takes place on the third Thursday of the month from 4pm - 5pm at Cheltenham Library.

Crafternoons

School Holiday Program

Kingston Libraries run a school holiday program four times a year. Keep an eye out Friday 6 December for the next school holiday program!

Storytime

Storytime sessions are held weekly at all branches except Dingley and Moorabbin. Storytime is a free service suitable for pre-school children aged 2-5. Bookings are not necessary.

Sessions include stories, rhymes and songs and are usually structured around a theme (like pets or dinosaurs).

Auslan Storytime

Auslan Storytime is incorporated into the regular Friday Storytime sessions at Cheltenham Library on the second Friday of every month.

Come and experience a visual language and join in for some stories and songs!

Auslan (Australian sign language) is the sign language of the Australian Deaf community.

Tiny Tots

Come and enjoy songs, rhymes, stories and finger play with your little one. Enjoy the company of other babies and parents in an entertaining twenty minute session. Get first choice of new books for toddlers and babies.

Tiny Tots Storytime is suitable for children aged 0-24 months.
