The 2018/19 Summer Opening Hours have ended. As of Monday 14 January 2019, Westall Library returned to the normal opening hours outlined below.

Westall Library is located in the Westall Community Hub.

Parking

The Westall Community Hub car park currently offers 44 parking spaces without time limit. Access via Fairbank Road.

Disabled Parking

Two disabled parking spaces are available near the entrance of the Westall Community Hub on either side of the central footpath that passes through the car park.

Library Facilities

Return Chutes

Returns can be made to Westall Library from 9am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays until the library closes, and on Sundays during Sunday opening hours.

During Hours

Items returned to Westall Library during opening hours can be done using the internal returns chute located to the right just inside the library entrance.

After Hours

Items can be returned to Westall Library after hours from 9am to 10am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; and 9am to 1pm on Wednesdays using the external returns chute located inside the Westall Community Hub building to the left of the library entrance.

Renewals

If you can't make it to any Kingston Libraries branch to return your items, and they are eligible for renewal, you can renew your items online by logging into your library card here. Alternatively, you can call the library on 1300 135 668 during hours and speak to a staff member to renew your items over the phone.

If you have forgotten your library card PIN and would like to renew online,
please fill out our Forgot my PIN form.

Computers

Westall Library has a total of 20 Windows PCs and 5 Apple iMacs available* for public use with Internet access. Conditions of use apply.

*Number of available terminals can vary due to maintenance that is occasionally required.

  • 8 x 2 hour PCs

Please note: One of our 1 hour PCs is a designated Accessibility PC fitted with accessibility equipment. Priority of use will be given to those who require it.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available at Westall Library. Conditions of use apply.

Printing and Photocopying

Printing and photocopying is available at Westall Library in A4 and A3, Black & White and Colour. Charges apply.

Scanning

Scanning is a free service available at Westall Library. Documents can be scanned to a USB device. Patrons who do not have their own USB can purchase one from the library for $6.

3D Printing

Westall Library is equipped with a Zortrax M200 3D Printer. Charges and conditions of use apply.

Portable Powerbanks

Portable Powerbanks are available to use within the library to charge your devices. Ask library staff at the loans desk to borrow one. You will need your library card.

Regular Events at the Library

Westall Library has the following regular programmed events:


  • Storytime

    Mondays at 2:30pm

    Sessions for 2018 have ended. 2019 sessions will start Monday 4 February. Suitable for children aged 2-5. Click here for more information on Storytime, including sessions at our other library branches.


  • Tiny Tots

    Fridays at 10:30am

    Sessions for 2018 have ended. 2019 sessions will start Friday 8 February. Suitable for children aged 0-24 months. Click here for more information on Tiny Tots, including sessions at our other library branches.


  • 3D Printer Workshop

    The fourth Monday of each month at 4pm*

    Sessions for 2018 have ended. 2019 sessions will start Monday 25 February. Suitable for ages 15+. Click here for more information on 3D Printer Workshops, including sessions at other branches.
