Parking

Car park opposite Parkdale Library has 17 x 3 hour parking spaces. Access via Parkers Road.

All day parking is also available along Como Parade East, around the bend past the library and the bee keeper.

A disabled parking space is available in the car park opposite Parkdale Library. Access via Parkers Road.

Kingston's Community Bus service provides transport to Parkdale Library every second Monday at 9:30am (excluding public holidays) to promote the health and wellbeing of Kingston residents most in need of transport support.

Return Chutes

Returns can be made to Parkdale Library 24/7.

During Hours

Items returned to Parkdale Library during opening hours can be done using the external return chutes located to the right of the library entrance.

After Hours

Items can be returned to Parkdale Library after hours using one of the external return chutes located to the right of the library entrance.

Renewals

If you can't make it to any Kingston Libraries branch to return your items, and they are eligible for renewal, you can renew your items online by signing into your library card account on Kingston Libraries' online library catalogue, or by using the Kingston Libraries app which is available to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Alternatively, you can call the library on 1300 135 668 during hours and speak to a staff member to renew your items over the phone.

Computers

Parkdale Library has a total of 18 Windows PCs and 1 Apple iMac available* for public use with Internet access. Conditions of use apply.

*Number of available terminals can vary due to maintenance that is occasionally required.

Please note: One of our 1 hour PCs is a designated Accessibility PC fitted with accessibility equipment. Priority of use will be given to those who require it.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available at Parkdale Library. Conditions of use apply.

Printing and Photocopying

Printing and photocopying is available at Parkdale Library in A4 and A3, Black & White and Colour. Charges apply.

Scanning

Scanning is a free service available at Parkdale Library. Documents can be scanned to a USB device. Patrons who do not have their own USB can purchase one from the library for $6.

3D Printing

Parkdale Library is equipped with a Zortrax M200 3D Printer. Charges and conditions of use apply.

Microfilm Scanning

Microfilm can be scanned at Parkdale Library using the ScanPro 800 available in the Family History room.

Portable Powerbanks

Portable Powerbanks are available to use within the library to charge your devices. Ask library staff at the loans desk to borrow one. You will need your library card.

    Tuesdays at 10:30am

    Wednesdays at 2:30pm
    & Thursdays at 10:30am

    The first Monday of each month at 10:30am
