Refugee Week Reading List

Sunday 20 June - Saturday 26 June, 2021

The purpose of Refugee Week is to inform the public about refugees and celebrate positive contributions made by refugees to Australian society. Activities have taken place since 1986, and (since its inception in 2001), have coincided with World Refugee Day on June 20.

The theme for 2021 is Unity, chosen because life in recent times has shown us how essential it is for everyone to work together, even just to survive, let alone to thrive and progress.

To find out more about what you can do to help build a more cohesive community during Refugee Week go to: https://www.refugeeweek.org.au/get-involved/
