A weekly session for primary school students and their parents to support homework help, learning, social connection, and using the library. The program is a joint activity between Westall Connect and Kingston Libraries.

STEAM Punk Club @ Parkdale Library

A monthly club for kids in prep to grade 6 at Parkdale Library with activities revolving around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths. No bookings required.

Novelty Writers at Chelsea Library

School Holiday Program

Kingston Libraries run a school holiday program four times a year. The June-July 2021 School Holiday Program is out now, available to download and book online.

Bookings open Friday 11 June at 9am

Storytime

You and your child will love Storytime at the library. Enjoy a fun 30 minute session of stories, action songs, rhymes, and puppets.

Storytime helps develop language, literacy, and fine motor skills. Best of all, Storytime fosters a love of books and reading.

Auslan Storytime

Come and experience a visual language and join in for some stories and songs.

Auslan (Australian sign language) is the sign language of the Australian Deaf community.

Saturday Storytime

Saturday Storytimes alternate between Chelsea and Cheltenham Libraries on a fortnightly basis. Perfect for families with children aged 0 to 5 years.

Tiny Tots Rhyme Time

Encourage a love of stories and reading with our Tiny Tots Rhyme Time program.

Enjoy an interactive 20 minute session full of songs, rhymes, books, and finger play. Learn techniques to develop your child's early literacy skills and discover the perfect books to choose for baby. Enjoy the company of other babies and parents and get to see our new books for and about babies and toddlers before anyone else.

Tiny Tots Rhyme Time is suitable for children aged 0 to 24 months.
