Youth Advisory Committee
The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) provides an opportunity for young people to be involved in future directions of Council and to provide advice to in relation to broad youth related issues within our community.
The YAC is an important forum for identifying city-wide issues and opportunities, and advising Council about effective policy and service provision for young people within Kingston.
Develop leadership skills and be part of the decision making process and gain experience and knowledge of local government and the youth services system.
The committee aims to focus on issues and opportunities that are relevant to young people in Kingston, providing specialist advice to Council as an input into decisions that impact Council policy.
If you are interested in volunteering your time to provide advice to Council, read the Terms of Reference(PDF, 83KB) and membership criteria.
