Universal Magazine

Universal is a vibrant and exciting free quarterly youth magazine that gives an authentic representation of youth culture. 

The Universal Magazine Committee is a group of creative and talented young people who meet monthly to write, edit and design each page of every edition. Each edition is distributed throughout the City of Kingston and with over 50 editions already developed, is a great way for young creatives to strengthen and showcase their talents and skills.

Join the committee to get valuable hands-on skills within the creative industry:

• graphic design
• illustration
• photography
• copywriting
• editing
• printing

We can also provide training and networking and help you build your portfolio.

How to join

To join the Universal crew, you must :

• be aged between 12 and 25
• live work or study in City of Kingston
• complete a Participation Form
