A monthly club for kids in prep to grade 3 with activities related to books, reading, authors, crafts, puzzles, and simple games. No bookings required.

Science Mates

A monthly club for all primary school students who are interested in science and technology. Activities include projects and workshops related to science and technology. No bookings required.

School Holiday Program

Kingston Libraries run a school holiday program four times a year. Keep an eye out Friday 7 June for the next school holiday program!

Storytime

Storytime sessions are held weekly at all branches except Dingley and Moorabbin. Storytime is a free service suitable for pre-school children aged 2-5. Bookings are not necessary.

Sessions include stories, rhymes and songs and are usually structured around a theme (like pets or dinosaurs).

Auslan Storytime

Auslan Storytime is incorporated into the regular Friday Storytime sessions at Cheltenham Library on the second Friday of every month.

Come and experience a visual language and join in for some stories and songs!

Auslan (Australian sign language) is the sign language of the Australian Deaf community.

Tiny Tots

Come and enjoy songs, rhymes, stories and finger play with your little one. Enjoy the company of other babies and parents in an entertaining twenty minute session. Get first choice of new books for toddlers and babies.

Tiny Tots Storytime is suitable for children aged 0-24 months.
