Dingley Village Library

Major improvement works at the Dingley Village Library and Harold Box Hall are taking place in 2019 to deliver fantastic new community facilities which will be unveiled in 2020. During this time, Dingley Village Library will be closed. See below for more details.

Library Service During Major Improvement Works

Library staff are available at the Dingley Village Neighbourhood Centre on Monday afternoons from 2:30pm - 3:30pm. Hold pickups and item returns can also be made to the Dingley Village Neighbourhood Centre during their office hours as listed below.

Holds and Borrowing

Library members who borrow from Dingley Village Library can place free holds to pick up at the Dingley Village Neighbourhood Centre during their office opening hours from 9am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Holds can be made using our online library catalogue or over the phone on 1300 135 668.

Returning Items

Returns at Dingley Village Library during 2019.

Until Thursday 31 January 2019

Items can be returned to Dingley Village Library using the external returns chute located to the left of the Harold Box Hall / library entrance up until Thursday 31 January 2019.

From Friday 1 February 2019

Starting February 2019, items can be returned to other Kingston Libraries branches or to the Dingley Village Neighbourhood Centre during their office opening hours from 9am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Renewals

If you can't make it to any Kingston Libraries branch to return your items, and they are eligible for renewal, you can renew your items online by signing into your library card account on Kingston Libraries' online library catalogue, or by using the Kingston Libraries app which is available to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Alternatively, you can call the library on 1300 135 668 during hours and speak to a staff member to renew your items over the phone.

Computers

Computers will be available for use at the Dingley Village Neighbourhood Centre and you can also access them at Kingston Libraries' other 8 branches.

Regular Events at the Library

During the major improvement works, Tiny Tots sessions in 2019 will be held at the Dingley Village Neighbourhood Centre:


  • Tiny Tots

    Mondays at 2:30pm.

    Sessions for 2018 have ended. 2019 sessions will start Monday 4 February. Suitable for children aged 0-24 months. Click here for more information on Tiny Tots, including sessions at our other library branches.
